The coastal town of Torrevieja lies 31 miles, (50 kilometres) southwest of Alicante. The town is set amongst a protected natural park with two salt lakes. These 'Salterns of Torrevieja' are the largest in Europe and attract more than 250 different species of birds. Holidays in Torrevieja offer access to 12 miles, (20 kilometres) of coastline featuring six large beaches - Cabo Cerver, Los Locos, Los Naufragos, Ferris, El Cura and La Mata.
Torrevieja beaches Most tourists start their tour of Torrevieja at the harbour. From here, explore the Museum of Sea and Salt, the fish market, and the Church of the Immaculate Conception. Holidays in Torrevieja are particularly popular with Spanish tourists who flock to its fine white-sand beaches and crystal-clear waters. All the beaches here have been awarded an EU Blue flag for cleanliness. Strolling along the seaside promenade and fishing port is a popular way to while away an afternoon.
Torrevieja excursions Every Friday, Torrevieja hosts one of the biggest open-air markets in the whole of Spain. Here visitors will find clothes, local handicrafts and a wealth of fresh local produce. Popular excursions include a fun day out at the Aquapark, cruises along the Alicante coastline, and a trip to the lakes of La Mata and Torrevieja, where visitors can enjoy a regenerative mud bath. Holidays in Torrevieja are also popular with groups of young partygoers. The town boasts more than a hundred bars clustered round the El Baluare area.
Aguado Internacional offers various apartments in the Torrevieja area. Some of them have swimming pool or propose a garage, both with an extra charge.
Guests are informed of the name of the apartment when picking up the keys in the office from 5.00 pm till 8.00 pm. Use of the air conditioning, and garage must be paid for directly at the reception.
All the apartments are fully furnished and include a bathroom with towels, a TV, and bed linen. A kitchen with a washing machine, fridge, and appliances, a combined living room/ bedroom, 1, 2, or 3 bedrooms, and a terrace are all standard in every apartment. The residential complex is made up of several apartment blocks. It comprises a total of 19 apartments, some with 1 bedroom which can sleep up to 4 people, and others with 2 bedrooms which can sleep up to 6 people. There is a reception desk and a bar.
The reception desk does not provide 24-hour service. Opening times will be advised on the booking confirmation. A deposit will be required upon arrival.
All apartments are equipped with all the necessities needed for a pleasant stay. Apartments include: an en suite bathroom with a hairdryer, individually adjustable air conditioning and heating, satellite/cable TV, stereo, an American-style kitchen, tea/coffee facilities, a fridge, oven, microwave, washing machine, ironing set, a safe (fees apply) and a balcony.
