Once a small fishing village, El Arenal has established itself as a lively beach resort particularly popular with partygoers. As one of the first holiday resorts to pop up on the island, El Arenal offers a dizzying selection of restaurants, British pubs, karaoke bars and nightclubs with big-name DJs. The resort is set on the south coast of Majorca, at the far end of Playa de Palma's three-mile stretch of beach.
The popular golden sandy beach of El Arenal is lined with beach huts offering shower and toilet facilities as well as a selection of drinks and snacks. Situated six miles from Palma, El Arenal is just a 15-minute drive from the airport.
The hotels Emperador and its sister hotel Palma Mazas are situated in a peaceful side street on the outskirts of El Arenal just 600 m from the beautiful beach of Playa de Palma. The hotel offers good, simple accommodation at a very affordable price. You can choose between bed and breakfast or half board. Each hotel has a swimming pool with sun terrace which is served by a pool bar. There is a bar in the evenings which has a friendly, lively atmosphere. There is plenty to do in the area, with the excellent 'Aquacity' only a few minutes walk away, or of course the long, sandy beach of Arenal and Playa de Palma. The area has a wealth of shops, bars and restaurants and is close enough to the City of Palma for shopping, sightseeing or visiting the excellent selection of restaurants.

The Hotel Emperador is an excellent holiday option for those looking for simple and comfortable accommodation in a popular, lively resort at a very reasonable price. The Emperador is situated in a quieter area only 400m from the centre of the resort and only 500m from the lovely, long, sandy stretch of beach which stretches along the coastline. The hotel has twin rooms with bathroom and terrace. There is a pool with sun terraces and sunbeds and a bar for those essential cooling drinks! You may choose to have B&B with the continental style breakfast, or half board may be taken in the neighbouring sister hotel. There is plenty to do in the resort with bars, shops, restaurants and the fantastic Aquacity water park. You may also like to take the short bus journey into Palma and you can enjoy discovering this lovely, historic city. This really is a great holiday deal!
